What is CCS?
Lake Country's CCS Technology has revolutionized foam buffing pads. The patented Collapsed Cell Structure (CCS) Technology is the result of many years of research and development by Lake Country manufacturing. CCS pads utilize the latest in innovation and are very user friendly providing better control, less product waste, more accurate results and an overall better job. CCS foam pads help reduce product waste by slowing the rate of product absorption into the pad. With conventional foam pads, product is absorbed into the foam rather quickly which reduces working time and may give disappointing results. A build-up of chemicals inside the foam will also cause the pad to dry out more rapidly.
About the Blue Ultra Light Finishing Pad
The Blue Ultra Light Finishing Pad has an ultra soft composition for applying refined paste waxes, sealants, glazes and sealants. This flat pad provides full contact with paint surface to minimize the pressure applied by the user.

Pads need to be cleaned after every use to ensure that your pad will stay clean and long lasting. We have various products available to help you keep your pad clean so you pad can continue to deliver superior results. Our Polishing Pad Cleaner and Rejuvenator will clean, restore and prolong your buffing and polishing pads. The ergonomically designed Foam Pad Conditioning Brush scrubs wax and polishes out of the foam and restores its original texture. Also available for optimal results is our Grit Guard Universal Pad Washer which cleans and dries all types of buffing pads on virtually any machine in seconds.

Collapsed Cell Structure:
The face of a CCS pad is covered in strategically places pockets. These pockets are locations where the foam cells have been closed. Polish and other product does not absorb into these closed cell pockets, leaving more product on the pad's surface and on the paint. This product-saving design gives chemicals a longer working time which results in more successful detailing. CCS foam pads work on every type of paint from conventional clear coats to harder, scratch-resistant clear coats. Lake Country's range of foam compositions combined with the right chemicals, provides you with a prescription to correct almost any paint imperfection on any finish.
